Lost in Sound Presents ("Lost in Sound," "we," "us") runs lostinsoundpresents.com and hosts house music events. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you RSVP, join our list, or contact us, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, email address, phone number, Instagram handle, and any message you send.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and its hosting provider (Squarespace) use cookies and similar tools to collect basic usage data, such as your browser type, device, pages visited, and general location based on IP address. We use this to understand how people use the site and keep it running properly.
Photos and video at events. We photograph and film our events. If you attend, you may appear in photos or video we share on our website and social media. If you'd like a photo of you taken down, email us and we'll remove it.

We use your information to:
Manage RSVPs and check-in at our events, including handing out gifts to RSVP'd guests
Send you updates about upcoming events, venues, and releases, if you opted in
Respond to your messages and inquiries
Improve our website and events
Text messages
If you check the box to receive texts, we'll send event-related messages such as reminders, announcements, and updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never required to attend our events. We do not sell or share your phone number or text opt-in with third parties for their own marketing.
If you opted in to email, you can unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it:
With service providers that help us run the site and our communications, such as Squarespace (website and forms), Google (form storage), and our email or text messaging provider. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
With event venues, limited to your name on the guest list, for check-in.
When required by law, or to protect the safety of our guests, staff, or venues.
Age requirement
Our events are 21+. Our website is not directed at anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as you're on our list or as needed to run our events. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails or texts at any time as described above. You can also email us to access, correct, or delete your information. Nevada residents may submit a request directing us not to sell their personal information. We don't sell personal information, but you can still send that request to the email below.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or online service is completely secure.

Our site links to other sites, like Instagram and venue pages. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy doesn't cover them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
